Enhanced Classic Line

Nettco i-Series
This Modular, economical, Portable and Fixed Mount, Mixer System is designed for tank sizes ranging from 25 – 5,000 gal. and can be applied to nearly all industrial applications including chemical, beverage, paint, plastics and many more. It”s constructed of light-weight aluminum and provides a full range of shaft speeds with either a direct or gear drive. Featuring a wide range of impellers and mounting options, this mixer can change mounting configurations in less than two minutes.
SR – SanStar Sanitary Mixer
With its’ compact design and low profile (only 13” tall), the SR Model is ideal for sanitary biological, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food applications in the 100 to 20,000 liter range. A right angle gear drive and low center of gravity allows tanks to be easily moved from one location to another with the mixer in place. This unit is designed for SIP/CIP environments in the most stringent cGMP facilities and has a sealed gearbox with expansion chamber so no breather valve is required. It is available with either washdown duty or energy efficient inverter duty motor, VFD, local readout tachometer, either all stainless or hard anodized aluminum pedestal, either ANSI or sanitary flanges, and dry running mechanical seals.
MagMixer MBI – SanStar Sanitary Mixer
The most cleanable magnetic mixer on the market. This bottom-entry Mag Mixer prevents contamination in pharmaceutical and biotechnology processing and storage applications. All in-tank materials meet USP Class VI standards. Fully SIP or CIP can be achieved by either flooding or spray ball and can be run dry for complete drainage during Clean in Place (CIP) cycles. Bearings can be easily removed for Clean Out-of-Place (COP) or maintenance and LIGHTNIN’S patented Hyper-Flo bearing design is proved to be more cleanable than sleeve bearing designs. Washdown inverter duty gear motor comes standard and LIGHTNIN’S QAD validation support package is an available option.
SSV – SanStar All-Stainless Sanitary Mixer
For critical sanitary applications polished, all stainless construction helps eliminate the potential for contamination. This unit is designed for buffer and media preparation, fermenters, bioreactors, product recovery and bulk pharmaceutical processing. It features modular construction for ease of service, repair and retrofit; minimum footprint for vessels up to 30,000 liters in a vertical, inline, design for closed vessels; output speeds from 100 – 290 rpm; custom selections for higher power or alternate speeds; full clean-in-place, sterilized-in-place CIP/SIP; washdown inverter duty motor; portable or fixed mount options; and stainless motor, gear and bearing housings. LIGHTNIN’S QAD validation support package is also an available option.
SVM – SanStar Sanitary Mixer
The Sanitary Vertical Mini (SVM) Mixer is engineered for critical sterilized environments to provide superior performance and clean operation in vessels from 10 to 500 liters. This unit mounts on standard 3” tri-clamp flange and has full CIP and SIP cleaning. It also offers a single mechanical seal option with our without a debris well and comes standard with a washdown inverter duty gear motor. LIGHTNIN’S QAD validation support package is also an available option.
Series 10 Top Entering Mixer
The Series 10 Mixers deliver a superior combination of value and performance in a wide range of applications. These units are available from 1 to 30 HP and speeds from 11 to 125 RPM. The unique shaft connection reduces shaft deflection which extends seal life and allows for longer shaft lengths to accommodate a wider range of tank configurations. This unit also features: the largest output bearings in the size range providing unmatched life up to 100,000 hours. Options include: either open or closed tank models; either dry-running single mechanical seals or lubricated double mechanical seals; seal pedestal design which permits operation up to vessel temperatures of 400 degrees F; and angle riser brackets that eliminate the need for baffles.
Series 70/80 Top Entering Mixers
The workhorse of the large Lightnin mixers. This design is the most specified and most proven mechanical design technology in the world. The 70 Series is available with motor pedestals up to 30kw (40 hp) to ensure motor alignment and 0.75kw to 150kw (1 hp to 200 hp) with speeds from 9 to 280 rpm. Its helical change gears are easy to replace to meet changing process requirements. In addition to the 70 Series design, the 80 Series has an exclusive hollow quill drive that protects the gear train from severe shaft flexure and its mechanical seals feature a cartridge design for easy replacement.
Series 500/600 Top Entering Mixers
These simple, efficient and reliable mixers are designed to provide rugged, dependable service and economy in a wide range of applications. These models feature an integral open-tank mounting base which is bolted directly onto the mounting surface so that no separate mounting plate is required. Horsepower available from 1 to 125 with speeds from 23 to 190 rpm. Lubricated and non-contacting gas mechanical seals are also available.
